Bugs when u try to type in the search bar u cant activate predictive text. Its just shut off. And then when i tried to type in the new topic for this problem the predictive text keeps using funky letters for choices in the dict and leaving the onE correct next to it with out highlighting it

It's not a bug, it's a feature
In the search bar, predictions are off (it's a hint given to the keyboard by the android system, but you can enable predictions with the "always suggest" option), so of course it doesn't make sense to enable T9 prediction, as there are no predictions at all !
The only improvement I could see here would be to change the appearance of the "T9" key to show that it is disabled (as done in HTC IME)

Actually it's the same here... Android gives the keyboard a hint to disable auto-correction, so that's what it does. Maybe it would be better to ignore this hint in that case
