I tottally agree with the person who posted this. I personally use the colen, closed bracket and the colen open bracket for my emoticon smiles and frowns. I would love if you could change the smileys to however you want. I am not a fan of the dash noses on them haha. Great apple!

Re: smileys
This, most definitely. It's kinda frustrating accidentally hitting that button instead of the . when trying to type "..." you get 12 characters you have to backspace to correct, and i never really use that button anyway lol so an option to remove it would be awesome.bears4154 wrote:I actually wouldn't mind an option to take out the smiley button all together, obviously it would be optional.

Re: smileys
I came here and registered just to agree with this...I find myself constantly typing the smiley instead of a "." it's driving me crazy! A option to remove this button all together and replace it with one big button for "." would be great. Or what if the dev made it so we could define what is contained within that button by providing a comma-delimited list in a text field in the settings? The first item in that user defined list could be whatever is shown on the button, with subsequent items shown in the tap-and-hold submenu.nrlulz wrote:This, most definitely. Re: smileys
+1 for enabling using smiles in other apps .found that they waist in your keyboard only after reading forums as I do not use native messaging app.please enable it for all other programs as well.
