New Hardware Keyboard Support
I enabled the option in settings, but nothing seems to be coming up. Is there perhaps anything else I need to do? Thanks much in advance.

Re: New Hardware Keyboard Support
The suggestions do indeed work now. Good job. It seems to break built-in capitalization, though. Also, something weird happens when you try to make an uppercas I when enabled. Check it out....

Re: New Hardware Keyboard Support
Hi all.
Turning on Hardware Keyboard Support seems to make it no longer possible to enter numbers on the hardware keyboard ( either by pressing "alt" once or pressing it twice to lock it on ).
This was using Handcent on a Milestone on 2.01
Thanks.

Hi
Yes I know, ALT and SHIFT are more difficult to handle (especially when they are locked), I'll do it later

Re: New Hardware Keyboard Support
Someone mentioned earlier in the comments section in the Market for Smart Keyboard Pro that when misspelling a word and then backspacing, one has to completely erase the whole word in order for the suggestions to work correctly. I also have this problem using the hard keyboard but not on the soft keyboard. Using Motorola Droid.
