How to write a § sign?

Post by Bertolus »

Hi, I need §§ professionally. But how do I write them with Smartkeyboard Pro?

I couldn't find it on my English or English International keyboard. Here is a way around it. On your phone browser, view this thread. Then highlight and copy the symbol you want. Alternately, you can view a site like http://www.alt-codes.net/ and copy the symbol from there. Doesn't matter, just somehow copy the symbol into the text buffer on your phone! :)

Then, in Smart Keyboard, you can create a custom autotext to replace some text like sss with this symbol. Paste that symbol. Or, even easier, edit one of your smilies (under General Settings -> Smiley Editor) and paste in the character. Worked like a charm for me! :)

Glad it's working for both of you. Little customizations like this are what I love about Smart Keyboard!
