When I am trying to enter a URL with the Dolphin Browser, I am having a problem. Let's say i am trying to enter http://www.cnn.com
I am fine through http://www.cnn but then when I type the next ".", it wipes out the cnn and I end up with http://www..
This does not happen with Stock Keyboard.
IF I turn off Quick fixes, the problem goes away.
I have Autocomplete turned off but Quickfixeds and Show Suggestions turned on. I wanted to try turning off Quick fixes, but leave Show Suggestions on, but I was not able to do so. I reported this issue on another thread.

Same problem w/ Stock Browser, not just Dolphin.
Surprised more have not reported this issue. Basically have to switch to stock keyboard if browsing.

Re: Weird issue with Dolphon Browser
Seems like maybe the stock browser turns off the quick fixes/suggestions when using a browser. The area where suggestions appear is there, but no suggestions appear leading me to believe it is not really on when using the browser.

Re: Weird issue with Dolphon Browser
Well... that's indeed due to the "Always suggest" feature I've been asked to add, which enables suggestions even when Android tells the keyboard not to do so.
But I cannot reproduce your problem (at least with the stock browser); if I type http://www.cnn, "cnn" appears in the suggestion bar, but "cannon" is highlighted, so this word is chosen if you press ".".
I'm not saying this is a good behaviour, but it's not exactly what you describe.
If you don't want this, just disable "Always suggest" (maybe I should turn it off by default, I don't know...)

Re: Weird issue with Dolphon Browser
I found a better solution. I will disable auto-correction in URL mode, so this problem won't happen any more, even with "always suggest" on

Re: Weird issue with Dolphon Browser
This issue has recurred (sort of). When sending an e-mail, if I try typing john.doe@yahoo.com in the "to address", the same problem occurs when I type the "." between John and Doe. The only way arround it is to turn autosuggest off when typing the address. Can you disable autoduggest when entering e-mail adresses as well?

Re: Weird issue with Dolphon Browser
This problem, got fixed a couple releases ago, but has returned. I assume it returned with the introduction of the latest release.
