Samsung Keypad shown instead of Smart Keyboard

Hi,

I have just installed Smart Keyboard Lite on my Samsung Galaxy I5801 mobile running Android version 2.1. I went to Settings->Locale & Text and enabled the Smart Keyboard.

However, the default Samsung Keybpad is still being shown instead of Smart Keyboard whenever I need to type text. There is no option in Locale & Text to disable the Samsung Keypad.

Could you please tell me how to make the Smart Keyboard as my default keyboard?
