I'd be a bit surprised of the API's give access to the actual keyboard that way. I would like to see it. It would also give this app something tangible to set it apart. Multitouch is something 99% of people just can't see so it's not enough.

Actually the API doesn't allow to access the hard keyboard, but it allows to detect that text was modified in the text input box, so it is possible

Erratum: the API allows to access the hard keyboard

So I did it... it's a new option in v1.2.0 ("Suggest on hard keys").
At the moment it's disabled by default, awaiting for your feedbacks !

I enabled the option, but still not seeing any suggestions. Not sure if I'm doing something wrong, waiting for someone elses response to see if it's me or not.

Uff, it was too easy to be true :/

I can only test with the emulator, as I don't have a physical keyboard on my phone... and it works perfectly...
Is it the same in portrait mode ?
Do you at least see the suggestion strip or nothing ?
Did you try to kill the app after setting the option ?

Actually... someone else told me that auto-correction works, but the suggestion popup doesn't show up... is it so ? is it in landscape / portrait ?
