T9 Text Prediction

I reported a bug with the bugtracker (http://bugs.smartkeyboardpro.com/view.php?id=149).

Is that normal? There are no difference between T9 on and off, if "Auto-complete" is off. I think it must work like other keyboards. If i type 8378, the keyboard must write automatically test (i dont want to choose a word after every input) with T9 on. I dont like Auto-complete in the normale keyboard (landscape or portrait), but i like T9.

yes "tpdt" is displayed, but when you press space, as "test" is highlighted in orange, "tpdt" is replaced by "test".
All what the "T9" button does is to enable/disable multitap.
Maybe what you want is that the text is replaced in the text while you type (which is covered in http://bugs.smartkeyboardpro.com/view.php?id=23), isn't it?

Correct that function would be great. My problem ist, that i dont like the auto-complete function with the normal keyboard. But i switch sometimes to T9 in the portrait mode (when i'm on the way). With the T9 keyboard i like the Auto-complete function. But it is not possible to switch that fast. The best way would be the feature here. Every keyboard i know have this feature.

It would be great, to set the auto-complete off in the normal layouts and on in the T9 layout (better the feature in the link). Or temporarily a swipe gesture for Auto-complete on/off. The feature in the link is the best way for the user.
