narrower space bar

I would like a narrower space bar, to make room for more primary keys. The space bar is about 4.5 keys wide, and I think 2 would be adequate. This would leave room for more keys, like the mic key plus the dedicated .com key both showing at the same time, or add one or more of the following, in order of preference: comma, apostrophe, dash, underscore, arrow (cursor) keys, back slash, forward slash. Thanks!

By all means add this as an option, but I guess I've got big thumbs and like that you can make the space bar bigger by turning off the comma, full stop and voice keys.
