this could be a hardware issue but....
multi-touch works when typing the word "me." but frequently fails when typing the word "he."
other problem words, "it," "the"
it seems like multi-touch doesn't work unless the key presses are more than 4 keys apart from one another. does this have to do with the software? hardware?
running android 2.0.1 motorola droid
