Gesture/Delete Word ignores next letter entry

Gesture/Delete Word ignores next letter entry

If you set a gesture to delete word, after using the gesture it ignores the next letter you type!

BTW - gesture up to delete a word works many many times better the gesture left & right which work like 10% of the time.
