Word Prediction

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I just got the Samsung Galaxy Nexus.
I had to reinstall Smart Keyboard Pro.

I have always disabled the predictive and suggested text.

When i go to text or write an email there is suggested words above the keyboard.
Maybe I missed something during set up.

Can anyone pleaseprovide me with what I need to do?

just tried it on my desire - and it seems if you turn off the 'show suggestions' option, that should stop it
