Hi all,

I've installed Smart Keyboard (free), and it's the best keyboard I've used on my Hero so far. Only one problem I've encountered, and I'm not sure if I'm PEBKACking it or if it's a setting I can't figure out, but when the phone is held vertically, I get the compact QWERTY as you'd expect. But when I rotate to horizontal, the keyboard shifts to the bottom of the screen, but it's still "compact" and doesn't fill up the whole width of the horizontal screen - the compact keyboard "hugs" the left side of the phone's screen.

Is this a bug? Or something not yet implemented? Or is there a setting that causes the keyboard to expand?

which phone do you have ? someone else reported this to me and it appeared that reinstalling the app fixed the problem, but at the moment I have no clue where it could come from...

I have a Hero, Android v1.5.

Actually I think this is the consequence of a bug in Android 1.5, and indeed the solution is to kill all your apps (or reboot the phone)
