Is it possible to disable voice input when using English so that the microphone icon is replaced by the standard comma symbol that other input languages show? I will never use voice input.
Thanks!

Just disable the mic key option in voice input settings... Can you tell me why you didn't this option? (this is interesting for me to improve the settings)

It's because I had a blond moment

There was no way to disable the mic under the default Samsung keyboard (voice input is one of the "killer" features of the Galaxy S2, and so tightly integrated), so I assumed that it wasn't possible/easy under Smart Keyboard either. Turns out it was, problem solved - thanks.
