I have downloaded the paid version of the App, but the Custom AutoText option is grayed out. I tried to uninstall / reinstall, and it's still the same. Any ideas how to get it to work?

You first need to enable "show suggestions" option. But indeed "show suggestions" is no more required to use auto-text, I will fix in the next version (but you can still check the option to edit your auto-texts, and disable it again afterwards).
