Problems with unique vowels with accents

Post by Maxxd »

I honestly don't know if this is a bug, if it's necessary to make a feature request, or if it's just necessary to activate some option, so forgive me in advance if this question is on wrong section.

The problem is very simple: I use smart keyboard with portrait keyboard ("old" 9 keyboard layout) with T9 enabled and portuguese dictionary installed and enabled. It works very well, but I can't insert (with t9) the following characters: à, á, é,è (...), i.e., any vowel with an accent don't appear on suggestions. (in case you didn't understand, in portuguese we have words just with the vowel, (but, for example, 'às' appears on suggestions because it has more than on letter), but when I press the 'def' button just one time, just appear on suggestion 'd','e','f'. It should appear 'd','e','f','é', at least.

Altough I also have smart dictionary learning new words (which works reasonably well), even when I disable and choose manually the unique vowel with accent (which is pretty annoying), and even when that letter goes to "user dictionary" (i confirmed that) it still dont appear on suggestions. A curious thing is: in the user dictionary, those vowels I 'forced learned', appear on the last rows (after the words starting with 'z'.

There obviously something wrong here, any workaround?
