auto correction stop functioning magically

Auto correction was working alright.

It suddenly stopped working after a reboot. No words are highlighted.

No settings changed.

Using version 3.9 on htc hd2

Do you mean you see predictions but nothing is highlighted? Is "auto-complete" option still on?
