unable to insert words

Hi

I use T9 keyboard. If I'm writing a sentence and want to go back and insert words I am unable to do this. EG...I write "what are you doing", I then want to insert "tell me" before the word "what". The words "tell me" appear as "tdjj md". If I remove T9 and manually type the words they appear as "tekj md".

Pls help?

Mike

Actually, this is bug that keeps happening to me all the time during usage, I just can't seem to reproduce it intentionally, and I never got 'round to posting anything about :)

Anyway, I use the compact QWERTY keyboard, without the XT9, and the problem I get is that, whenever I want to type something in the middle or at the begining of a word already typed (like, for instance, trying to correct a typo, or inserting a new word like in the example above) I notice two things:
1. I get no suggestions (so, typing "jeah", then space, than going back one space and continuing to type doesen't trigger the suggestion box)
2. Sometimes (often) the multi-tap seems to get "stuck". I actually have to pres a single button four times (!) to get to the second letter ('f" on the button "df", for instance).

This is VERY annoying, but, for some reason, even though it seem to happen to EVERY SINGLE TIME I actually type to someone and try to fox typos, I can't, for the life of me, reproduce this at will.
Does the Dev have any ideas as to what migh cause this (the second point, obviously, beeing the important one)?

I've the same problem.
When I want to insert words in the dictionnary for example, in T9 mode, if I want to insert "have" I can't do this, I've to pass by the built-in keyboard...

HTC Desire 2.2 Froyo

I don't really have ideas, as I am also unable to reproduce this problem (even when adding words in the user dictionary, in T9 mode, on Froyo...)

Actually, I found it almost never happens on the first word.
And, if you're using xt9, and Auto-Correct, there prolly won't be any chance to expirience this, as you won't have a need to go back and edit words already typed.
