Smart Keyboard has a problem with the small screen of the new Xperia X10 mini.
The main problem is that the first line of text is hidden by the recipient name bar. This is obviously because the software was not designed for such small screens. Also, the full stop & comma button is too small and the send button is too big relative to the text window.
You can see a picture of the problem here:

The QWERTY keyboard is too small for this phone but may be ok in landscape mode which does not seem to be supported by this phone during texting.
Hope you can fix this.
Regards
Chris

Re: Problems with Xperia X10 mini
Hi
- first line hidden: this is because the keyboard is too big, but this is something I can change easily
- dot button too small: less easy to change, it needs deeper changes in the app
- send button too big: it's not part of the keyboard !

Re: Problems with Xperia X10 mini
So in a first step I will make the keys and suggestion bar slightly smaller on phones with a QVGA screen, like yours

Re: Problems with Xperia X10 mini
Thanks cyril, that's great...looking forward to the changes.
As a suggestion you may want to consider a 9 button XT9 keyboard option for QVGA screens as in the original Xperia mini phone:

The suggestion bar could go at the top (as normal) and you could have extra buttons on the side as indicated.
Notice in the Xperia keyboard the send button (next to the text box) does not appear as when the Smart Keyboard is used. It would be good if you could do this as well but somehow I don't think its possible.
Cheers

I'm sure that many people want to buy tods womens shoes shoes, but someone may think they are expensive. But you can find many high quality tods mens shoes at very cheap price in online shops. Buying from online shops can save you a lot of money.
