HTC incredible. app version 2.3.2. Smart keyboard turned off.
I cannot type fast with this keyboard. Words like "hahaha" come out as "hhhhha." There is a noticeable keyboard lag. I can see both the H and the A's popping up but the A's do not register.
This can be reproduced by typing any two letters consecutively very fast.

Re: Keyboard lag, cannot type fast
I've noticed the same as well. It's not a lag issue though. the keyboard is misinterpreting your alternating presses as a single finger swiping back and forth very quickly. If you turn on "show touch points" you will see drag lines between the two points where it thought you dragged. I run into a different symptom of the same problem when i type 'This' or 'The'. it frequently becomes 'His' or 'He', because it thinks i'm dragging my finger from 't' to 'h', when in reality i'm just striking two keys in quick succession. It even adds an additional press in the middle of the drag (shows up as an extra dot) even though no finger ever hit that spot.
Can a threshold setting be added that will correct this problem? Normally when you are correcting a keystroke as such it is done very slowly and from the edge of one key to the edge of an adjacent one. Theres got to be some assumption that can be made that you wouldn't be wildly thrashing your finger across a series of keys to correct a mis-hit key.

@ davieboynj
the wildly thrashing made me laugh pretty hard, haha, but it was a good description of the problem. i don't think it should be impossible to fix, but i'm not a dev so.. it'd be great if you could fix this, cyril

Re: Keyboard lag, cannot type fast
Indeed that's the same analysis I did in this other topic http://www.smartkeyboardpro.com/forum/v ... ?f=3&t=218
The problem is that the keyboard receives touch events from the android system that are wrongly interpreted, because the "key up" and "key down" events are missing when the 2 keys are pressed in succession with a "perfect" timing. So indeed the screen (driver) is "lagging", not the keyboard. It's not an easy fix, but hopefully I will find something

I’m sure many people know Hogan Shoes and like to buy hogan men shoes. Hogan is a very famous brand now although it has only a short history. hogan women shoes are very popular. Its success is a magic in the fashion world.
