"Error occurred in your order"

Post by cwantman »

Purchased smart keyboard pro several months ago for droid x, which died last week. Have a replacement device, and can't re-download the app. Keep getting a message "An error occurred in your order". Was able to install trial version, but even when checked in language and keyboard settings, what appears is the standard droid keyboard.

One other item of interest. When I made the original purchase it seemed to charge me in pounds, not dollars.

I suspect that there is a vestige of the program somewhere on the device that is creating confusion. Help appreciated.

Please check in the user's guide how to change the input method.

About your payment issue, I'm not sure I can help as I have no control over Android Market.

Cyril:

Thanks for the hint on making the trial version operational. That worked, and I can now use your lovely keyboard. For a while. If I understand you correctly the problem with the purchase is related to the Android Market and not to Dexilog. Any suggestions as to how to deal with them?

Thanks for your help.

I've been in touch with the Android Market, and they believe that I am getting an error message on the re-download of smartkey pro because it's flagged in your system as already sold to my email account. They recommended that Dexilog record a refund so I'd be able to repurchase it.

I believe it was purchased under the email charles@audiovistas.com. (It might have been cwantman42@gmail.com, but I doubt it.) Is this something you can do? I promise to repurchase it if you do the refund. I really like the product.

Thanks,
Charles

My issues with not being able to download smartkeyboard pro may be due to the fact that it might have been purchased directly from the developer site rather than through the Market. I say this because I recall the charge showing in pounds and not dollars. The Market has no record of my having made the purchase. Is this scenario possible? Is there someone in the business area of your company I should be in contact with? Thanks for your help.

Hello
Exactly, you bought directly with PayPal from the web site, so you cannot use Android Market to download the app. To download it again, just click on the download link in the email you received when you bought the keyboard.

Thanks for your post. I had stumbled across the remedy you suggested a couple of days ago on my own, and it did the trick. Thanks for all your help. Much appreciated.
