No Customization

I paid for the pro version thinking the customizations would work, however they dont. I can't change the skin. I can't get rid of the mic and period button. My "123" button shows "12#"....

I dont know what to do to change this and I'm getting increasingly frustrated since I paid for this app. I did rate it low, but will change it once these problems are solved.

I have tried skins that were downloaded from the market and I've tried the skins that come with the app. How do I fix this? I've already uninstalled, rebooted and reinstalled several times.

If you see a "12#" key it means you don't actually use Smart Keyboard (there is no such key at all!), so of course you cannot use any of the app features.
Please see the user's guide to know how to change the input method correctly.
