Trailing space at end of line after suggstion

This is not really a bug, but it's not a feature request, either:

When selecting a suggested word, the keyboard leaves a trailing space if the next key is Enter.

To make it happen:

• Begin typing a word that will result in a suggestion (e.g., t-e-s-t-i)
• Select the suggested word ("testing")
• Press Enter
• Touch the screen past the end of the previous line and note extra space
