When adding/editing Custom AutoText in Landscape mode, the AutoText is not saved. In portrait mode, the AutoText is correctly saved. Can you please confirm whether or not you are able to reproduce this behavior?

ps - I just did a test with the Custom Dictionary and the same behavior occurs, re: nothing is saved when in landscape mode.

Yes, when entering the settings in landscape mode, the settings are never saved. Here are the steps to reproduce:

1. Hold in portrait mode.
2. Go to keyboard settings > Text Prediction.
3. Add/Edit custom dictionary and/or custom autotext.
4. When the text input screen comes up, rotate phone into landscape mode.
5. Enter text and save.
6. Result: Settings are not saved.

I just re-tested while holding the phone in Landscape mode the entire time and the settings are indeed saved. However, when switching from portrait to landscape, the settings are not saved.

Then you are right, this situation was not handled correctly. This is fixed in the latest 4.2.3 beta
