Scandinavian ÄÖÅ not work with desire Z slide-out keyboard

With Smart Keyboard activated the Scandinavian letters ÄÖÅ are all the time capitalized when use HTC Desire Z slide-out QWERTY keyboard. Program are now useless for me. I hope that there will be option to use HTC keyboard software when open slide-out QWERTY keyboard or the Smart Keyboard should use right size of the letters when input ÄÖÅ letters. It is very annoying.
