I just downloaded the trial and I'm having the same issue. No full screen in landscape still goes full screen till the phone is rotated to portrait and back to landscape.
Rebooted as per suggestion in the FAQ and still the same.

I don't like betas, I hope for a fast fix in the official version. This is so unnerving that I think about switching to another keyboards which has word prediction in addition. Also, writing combined words does not work well with Smart Keyboard, unfortunately (German language). I was so excited about Smart Keyboard, but after a few weeks of using it excessively I must say I am more and more disappointed.

You need to understand that it's not a bug; such apps such as HTC Mail Client (and Samsung browser, apparently) FORCE the keyboard to NOT switch to fullscreen mode in some contexts, and that's why Smart Keyboard does. If some dirty workaround can be implemented to improve the situation, it will be.

Sorry, Cyril, but if a keyboard doesn't let me see what I am typing and if the part of the screen that contains the text entry window jumps around when trying to show it, then it is a bug for me, nothing else. Especially if other keyboards don't have that problem. I have bought your keyboard as I loved the idea with the autofill, but I cannot use it this way, so I switched to another product.
