Another smart dictionary problem

Post by simon_s »

Hi,

I too am having a smart dictionary problem.

When I type "Hi" SmartKeyboardPro automatically suggests "Him. If I am not paying attention and hit space rather than manually selecting "Hi" from the suggestion list, the wrong word ("him") gets inserted.

I tried forcing the dictionary to relearn "Hi" by typing "Hi" and manually selecting the word "Hi" well over a dozen times, but it keeps suggesting "him" and automatically inserts that word if I don't manually choose "Hi".

Strangely, if I type the word "hi" with a lowercase "h", it suggests "Hi" with an uppercase "H" so if I want to type the word "hi" in lower case I again have to manually select it.

It would be great to be able to manually edit the smart dictionary to delete learned suggestions when the smart dictionary has accidentally learned something that makes no sense.

It would also be nice to have an option to manually set what we want the SmartKeyboardPro recommended word to be. When I type "Hi" and SmartKeyboardPro suggests "Him" in red, the word "Hi" is next to it (not in red, meaning not recommended). I can press and hold on the word "Hi" to save it to the dictionary... it would be nice if pressing and holding also gave an option to manually set that to be the recommended word (i.e., allowing the user to replace the recommendation of "Him" with "Hi).

Thanks for listening!
