Help! Smart Keyboard minimizes/closes

Hey guys - new to the forum as I have recently been running into an issue.

Whenever I type "In" or "IM" regardless of how long I wait between pushing "I" and "N" the keyboard minimizes. Seems to be keys in that area, same thing happens with "um" and "un".

I originally thought it was due to the gestures aspect, but I changed it to where I could no longer swipe down to minimize and the effect still happened. I tried resetting the app - is there a way to reset all, or should I just uninstall and delete the directory in Astro Gallery?

Or are others running into this and found a solution.

I am using an HTC Evo running 2.3.3

Indeed it seems to be a gesture issue, so it should not happen if you disable the "Down" gesture...
To reset all the settings the only way is to uninstall / reinstall the app

I have turned off all gestures and the keyboard still minimizes, regardless.

I have also uninstalled and reinstalled the application, but the minimizing still continues.

Perhaps there is a spot in the internal memory I can wipe any errors or settings the uninstall does not? I cannot go back to using the Sense keyboard and need to find a fix for this!
