I have this minor issue where whenever i change the orientation of the screen from portrait to landscape (or the other way round) the last word from my previously sent message would appear typed out and i have to delete it first. Doesnt happen all the time, but frequent enough. Didnt occur when i used the default android keyboard so im guessing its smart keyboard causing the issue.

Im running a Nexus One on android 2.1

Yep thats the EXACT same problem! Hope you'll have the time to look into it soon.
