full-screen Landscape not working

I have an HTC Thunderbolt, and I've been using SKP since day 2 with my phone. I've noticed recently that the Full-screen landscape option doesn't activate when using the native email client (not Gmail app). i hit compose in the email app, and the Full-screen feature works fine when i'm entering the "to:" line and the "Subject:" Line, but then turns off when i get to the body of the email.

I have the same problem on my HTC Incredible S, can't get full screen in landscape.
