Erros with Arrow Key in phone/number mode

The Up arrow key in the phone/number mode when pressed sometimes moves me into letters or flips me into the next field and they types letters.

I have switched to arrows only, that offers a larger key, and slowed down my long press, also adding the show touch points. Not sure if this is me or the program, but I would hope you can check it out.

I noticed that the problem is when I try to scroll up as the up arrow, hits the redline, and shifts to recall hidden letters. This happens in all modes. However, there is no problem when typing letters.

I'm not sure I can do anything. If you press "up", the app can move the cursor to the previous text field, and in that case the keyboard input view is reset (which means you will go back to letters if you were in the symbols panel)

The error persists in the arrow mode, and is also problematic when I press the arrow keys and backspace delete key. when you press the backwards arrow quickly and repetitively, or a long press to move the cursor, you get periods added to the text, that moves the cursor forward and not backwards. The same thing happens when you press the backspace delete.

another problem with the keyboard with the Droid 2 is that you lose the ability to search and get phone numbers from the contact list. When I search from the built in keyboard, I press keys of a name, and the next available phone numbers come up. Whereas with the smartkeyboard I do get suggested spellings, but the search function will not work, and does not even link to the names in my contact list.

Hope these bug issues help you out. I was ready to buy to support you, but I need these features to be improved, so I will wait until you get a new release.

Your update seemed to fix most things. I am a buyer. Thank you.

One other item that you should consider. Can the Phone Keypad be used as a T9 keypad, so I can double press or triple press to get name searches in my contact list.

I am having trouble getting quick contacts, and the traditional keyboard is OK, but a larger t9 option could work well for this feature.

Possible in the options key, to enable search with the keyboard or search with the T9 keypad, that uses letters and multiple presses.
