Split keyboard for large resolution displays

There's a thread at xda developers aboutt it, would like to see.this built into smart keyboard

Yes that would be possible, but it's a huge work to support all the languages... but I could do it for English international at least
However I'm not sure I like the layout in the screenshot ;)

They have a rough build and its not bad, I use portrait and t9 too much so unless smart keyboard implements it ill never use it lol.

But yea I was thinking the layout should be completely split, instead of occupying the bottom half of the screen and splitting it there it would be cool to see it completely split in half and using two small sectiones of screen from top to bottom on each side. I'm horrible with graphic design but ill see if I can throw together a rough sketch when I'm on the computer.

Anyway I thought it was a pretty cool idea, there will be a lot more of us who used smart keyboard on our phones that will be getting tablets in the Droid tablet boom headed our way and trying to use smart keyboard on our big screens ;-)

sorry to hear that its not easy (looked really easy :P)

Would be great on 7" tablets (like Archos 70).
