arrow keypad select predictions

My phone has a d-pad and I would like to be able to use it to select the predictions (next/previos and middle to select).
I´ve tried another keyboard (the HTC Touch input) and it has exactly the function.

Swiftkey has just released a beta this morning with an option to enable arrows on the on the keyboard "ala" HTC keyboard. No cycling, no swiping, no having to go to other screens to look for it and all that time wasting BS. Just a box in the settings area that if you want it enabled you put a check in it. Revolutionary. This a feature that I can see on SKP that will enhance an already awesome keyboard.

Android 2.3 also has included cursors. The way they Implement this should be incorporated into SKP. You hold the space bar and swipe up for the arrows and when you're finish you can dismiss the arrows by holding the space bar and swiping down and the arrows disappear. (like magic )
