Physical Keyboard Functionality + Smart Keyboard PRO

There are a couple of things I've noticed about the hardware keyboard + Smart Keyboard PRO functionality (I'm on a G1 + CyanogenMod's latest):

1) ALT doesn't register a symbol above the cursor that it's been pressed, same with a locked ALT. It works, but there is no indicator.
2) Shift however works fine with the symbol below the cursor.
3) ALT+Del doesn't delete a line as expected, it just deletes a single character and ignores the ALT.
4) ALT+Space creates an unknown symbol rather than pulling up the Symbol chart.

How do the dictionaries work in keyboards? It seems that between them I can type something and Android Input will know something but Smart Keyboard PRO won't. Strictly curious. Thank you for the fantastic piece application and the time and upkeep you put in!

I'm on HTC Dream/G1 with CyanogenMod 4.2.14.1. Using Smart Keyboard 1.8.0.

Tested your descriptions in stock messaging app with the physical keyboard.

1) Alt and Alt Lock indicators work as expected on my G1.
3) Alt+Del still deletes an entire line.
4) Alt+Space still brings up the symbols list.

it only doesn't show the alt as being in use if you have hard keyboard suggestions enabled... other than that, it displays just as it should.

I tried to work on that issues, but actually they are a real pain to fix, so not my priority at the moment

I guess this should have been in bug reports. My mistake.
I appreciate your working on it.

I tested this on the latest, still there.

I also found the bug that if you hold Shift and start a sentence that would be auto-capitalized then let go after the first letter, the shift indicator never goes away despite writing in lower case after the initial upper case letter.
