Ever since I bought my Motorola Milestone I've been searching for a T9 Keyboard with a portuguese dictionary. When the paid market finally opened up here in Brazil, I decided to give Smart Keyboard a try and really enjoyed it. But a T9 without a good dictionary is not very useful, and unfortunately the current Portuguese dictionary is very (very very very) limited.
There is a very complete and open-source dictionary of Brazilian Portuguese and European Portuguese available for OpenOffice and Firefox http://www.broffice.org/verortografico. I don't know if it could be adapted for this keyboard, but if it could, it would take SmartKeyboard miles ahead of its competitors!
Hello
I know the Portuguese dictionary is poor, I should even be ashamed of having published it
Of course I would like to improve it, but what I need is a word list sorted by frequency of usage, can you help me find this in your link?
I don't think they have what you need on that particular link, but I'll try to contact the project manager and see if they have that kind of info somewhere. (This is how desperate I am to get my hands on a portuguese T9 keyboard hehehe)
