I just recently purchased this app and I like a lot BUT I text in landscape mode all the time and I DO NOT like the fullscreen mode at all. I like being able to see the thread and the emoticon/attachments/mms menu below text space and the word suggestions menu. Basically the way it looks in portrait mode is how I want it to look in landscape mode.

Under general settings check the box for 'no landscape fullscreen' and you'll be good

I also dislike full screen mode on landscape, I think this kind of shooting is not good!
