I wish to request the ability to double-tap words to select in Gingerbread+.
When Gingerbread was first released, this was a huge user-interface issue for Swype, and they were able to leverage new code/API to continue to allow double-tap for word select despite Gingerbread's new crappy select a word implementation.
Can this be incorporated into Smart Keyboard as well? It is really the only thing keeping me from upgrading
+1...i updated to gingerbread few days ago and its driving me crazy...instead of selecting full word with double tap i must delete all word...its slow and innacurrate..pls add this
