text field in browser as part of keyboard

It would be great if the text field in a web browser would be re-sized when entering text so that we wouldn't have to scroll left and right to see what were typing. My Samsung Captivate did this with the stock keyboard. I am sure it wasn't actually re-sizing the browsers text field but instead the keyboard probably had a text entry field that auto pasted into the browsers text field when the "done" button was tapped.
