I think its a waste of time to swipe up down left or right to have an option to toggle smiley or enter. I just want ot to do an enter or a smiley face so I don't have to take that middle step all the time, plain and simple.

I kept this option for backwards compatibility, but it's completely useless (for a while), as you can always long press the enter key to get smileys.... Read the FAQ, guys

Hey I didnt know you replied. I see what you are saying but i think it would still be useful to have a custom text you could do for swiping up, down, left, and right if you wanted to. like for me i want to be able to remove the mic key and period because i find i hit the mic key on accident and miss the period key A LOT. Now I think it would be much easier to have a giant space bar and be able to swipe for period and mic key( i know you have that one already), the other thing is id like to swipe for enter because my default smiley key is and i dont really want to hold the enter button when i could just hit the smiley key since i use it like once per text seriously. so i think honestly just being able to custom text gesture swipe would help everyone out because i could make it any word or key like , *enter*, a period, or whatever anyone wants ever! :DDDDDDD thanks for reading and i beg you to implement this i will give you an imaginary dollar or a hi five or anything! THANKS! also dolphin browser and 8 pen have a pretty sick way of custom gestures that would also be cool to do iffff possible... you can swipe an s and customize it to do something or an m or whatever.

And I just talked to my sister and she would like to be able to gesture a !. Seeeeee custom text gesture for each direction is where the money is at man!
