Switching between compact qwerty and full qwerty

I see the option on slide left/right to switch between t9 and compact qwerty, but ide really like it to be slide left for right to switch between compact qwerty and the staddard keyboard, because I don't use the t9 one at all, and get sick of having to slide past that one too.
Could you make that an option? thanks!
