I love the gesture function, and I think it could be even better if it was possible to assign a gesture for selecting the current highlighted word. Why, you may say, when it's only a matter of tapping the word in the selection bar? – well, I like to keep my finger(s) on the keyboard as much as possible, and writing in Norwegian, where there are a lot of compound words, I often need to write a single word in two operations. For example: To write my user name, "kaffekopp" (which is a single word meaning "cup of coffee"), I first need to write "kaffe" (coffee), select the candidate, and then write "kopp" (cup). If I could select words by a single swipe, it would make typing even more comfortable and convenient. I suppose this applies to some other languages like German as well.
