It would be nice to have a compact qwerty feature and a nicer auto correct feature

Hi
compact QWERTY is in the TODO list. For the "improved auto correct", can you be more specific ? This doesn't have the same meaning for everyone, and only precise examples will help me to improve it

Compact QWERTY! Please, please, please. I'm addicted to it on the HTC_IME keyboard. On Smart Keyboard it would blow it away.

ok cyril, here's one thing i'm noticing that happens a lot:

say i'm trying to type the word "change" but i mess up and type 'chsnge' instead. sometimes (randomly?) it doesn't come up with any corrections. if i go back to just "ch" and carefully type "change", no auto corrections will come up until i correctly spell "change", and the only thing that appears then is the word "change" in orange, with no other corrections. however, if i completely erase the whole word, and start typing "cha" then all the corrections come up as usual and "change" is the one in orange.. followed by changes, charge..

i hope you are understanding what i'm saying. the autocorrect feature is identical to the stock keyboard, however sometimes it just doesn't work at random times, on one word, regardless of what word it is.

hope you can fix this,

I get the same thing. Sometimes when I'm typing fast, it doesn't even suggest at all.

I found the bug. Indeed it's when you type fast, the prediction algorithm takes into account the wrong keys, which messes up the suggestions
Will be fixed in 1.22.2
