Hi,
There is a setting to move the backspace in Hebrew keyboard to the left.
The problem is, that using either this or default Hebrew backspace key differs from where in usually is in English and other layouts - on the bottom right. Moving from layout to layout gets really annoying, since the backspace button is used A LOT, and it's always clicked at its "correct" place automatically before thinking - and it makes people frustrated. That was the main reason why I didn't buy the keyboard until now, knowing it for 1/2 year.
On the other hand, the letter that is taking the space from Backspace key - is used very rarely, and nobody would care if it was moved.
AnySoftKeyboard, which is the only free choice for Hebrew keyboard until now, has it this way for Backspace compatibility with all the other layouts - the Backspace key is in its usual place, and "ץ" key that occupies it is moved to the top row, leftmost place. it works really well.
Can the same out be implemented in Smart Keyboard Pro too? Maybe as an option, but I can even suggest it to be the default layout. I believe many newcomers that aren't used to the current awkward implementation yet, will really like the change.
Thanks.

Re: Hebrew keyboard - alternative backspace
Hello
you can never say "nobody would care", I always get complains when I change something people were used to.
I can add this option easily (you didn't need to wait for 6 months to ask
), but I'm not sure it's a good idea to set it by default as it would change the behavior for current users

Thanks for the reply. I didn't know it would be so easy, so I didn't ask
Anyway, I've bought the keyboard already and enjoying it, so if it's not a big task to create additional layout - I'll enjoy it even more
Thanks.
