ability to move or condense keyboard

I love the keyboard, but one point of annoyance (not Smarty Keyboard's fault) is that the keyboard covers the text box when answering a SMS using the Handcent pop-up, so you can't see what you're writing. Not a big deal,but it would be great if you could come up with a way to deal with this. Thanks.
