Seems weird, but maybe add the days of the week into the dictionary.

I have this problem too. I only really type in SMS. Doesn't even need to be a lot of text. I've seen it in both landsape and portriate mode. The only way I've been able once to fix it once it starts is switching back to the default keyboard. It usually happens after about 10 minutes of use, sometime...
