Re: What pops up when long-pressing letters
So maybe you changed the option "Force latin layout" to "English"? Because for sure if you really use "English (International)" layout, you have all the European accented letters available in the popup. "English (UK)" is just the same as "English" e...

Re: What pops up when long-pressing letters
Ah sorry I thought you didn't want these foreign letters! So the answer is the opposite: you just have to use "English (International)" and not English ;) Sorry, but I don't get it. Under Smart Keyboard settings I go to Language and set: - Current language to English (International) - Ena...

Re: Possible to disable voice input when using EN?
Just disable the mic key option in voice input settings... Can you tell me why you didn't this option? (this is interesting for me to improve the settings) It's because I had a blond moment :D There was no way to disable the mic under the default Samsung keyboard (voice input is one of the "ki...

Re: What pops up when long-pressing letters

Possible to disable voice input when using EN?
Is it possible to disable voice input when using English so that the microphone icon is replaced by the standard comma symbol that other input languages show? I will never use voice input.
Thanks!
Thanks!

What pops up when long-pressing letters
I've been running the trial for a few days and prefer the keyboard to the default of my Galaxy S2, but there is an obstacle I need to get pass before purchase. By default a long-press of any letter enters the symbol assigned to that key, but as I often enter foreign letters (å, ä, ö, ø, æ, and so on...

Spell-check as in iOS available?
I'm running the Smart Keyboard trial as I'm looking for an alternative to the default keyboard on my new Galaxy S2, but I do wonder if there is a spell-check function available? Ideally I'm looking for something like in iOS4 (I'm a former iPhone user) or in common text editors where incorrectly spel...
