To add to this - you can use a great app called Smart Rotator (https://market.android.com/details?id=net.xdevelop.rotator_t) that auto rotates by app. However adding Smart Keyboard Pro to this list doesn't trigger rotation when the keyboard is used, only when the settings are open (this makes sense)...

Feature request please - For SKP to automatically switch to landscape when the phone is rotated, regardless of the system auto-rotate setting. Reason: I leave "auto-rotate" set to "Off" (i.e. portrait) because it saves a lot of battery life. I guess the sensor doesn't need to be ...
