The new ICS keyboard can correct something such as "testvtyping" to "test typing" if you miss the space bar and hit v instead. It would be great if you could add this feature. Another suggestion is to enable a captcha for registering or something to curb all the spam posts/threads.

I've noticed this too. Until a fix is implemented in the app, I've found that typing a backspace gets the arrow to clear faster. Hope that helps.

If you're using the T9 keypad, you have to type in the entire word without T9 enabled. Otherwise it accepts the suggestion. This is the only way to add words to the dictionary when using the T9 layout.

Any update on this? Just a little still working on it or not possible would be great.

Would it be possible to get a smaller dictionary? I, for one, would rather have a dictionary that contained the basics and few, if any, advanced words or proper nouns. This way you allow fairly full functionality while reducing the number of incorrect suggestions by reducing the number of unused ent...

This isn't a bug. If it inserted a space after touching to correct a word, you would end up with two spaces between some words. Wasting characters in SMS and reducing readability.

Would it be possible for the dictionary to not add apostrophes automatically with the T9 input layout? That way it will be easier to differentiate between words when using T9. The biggest example of this is the difference between "it's" and "its". I use "it's" more ofte...

EDIT: If that was the behavior and you went back to tap-to-replace a word and then the cursor left the word, it would likely be replaced by the default word. I have a Droid 2 and am unable to reproduce this. While I know that isn't at all helpful, if you could give me some more information I could try to reproduce it on my phone.
