Hi, What do you mean by "switch to numeric view" ? Is that something linked to the data type of the text field ? I just enter phone number everywhere, in notes, calendar entry, etc...not only in fields that are "phone numbers". And sometimes it is not phone numbers, but basically...

+1 for this, however do it better than HTC : HTC (Hero) calibration works only for letters, not for numbers. So it improve the letter recognition, but then decrease the number recognition thereafter, as you have to click on a key differently if you're in letter or number mode !!
