You mean when typing a URL? That's normal, predictions are switched off in Android for URL and password fields. You'd find the same with any other keyboard, afaik.

Given that you can set "change language" to a gesture, I'd quite like it if you could then hide the language key, like you can hide the comma or period key.

Not that I'm disagreeing with your suggestion, but did you know you can swipe down on the keyboard to close it? It's certainly an option, and I think it's even that way by default.

Building on the "period on double space" feature, I wonder whether a "comma on triple space" feature would also be quite slick. Or would that be more effort than just hitting the comma key?

The comma also appears in the suggested punctuation in between typing words anyway, so for me that really wouldn't be an issue.

I like this suggestion a lot. It'd be a great function.

On a related note, I keep mistyping ,"for" as "fir" - not sure how it works now but it would be great if it could somehow register that I consistently take the second suggestion of "for" and start giving that priority.

I hate that about Swiftkey too. I much prefer how Smart Keyboard Pro does it. If this were added, I'd definitely only want it as and option so I could keep it as it is now!

I'd also find this really helpful. I'd like to swap out the suggested underscore with a hyphen, for example.
